How do I commission a portrait?

Firstly, you will need to send me some photographs of your pet. I aim to work from your favourite photographs of your pet although it is always a pleasure to meet your pet in person! I am also happy to work from older photographs for a special memorial portrait. Once we agree on a photo to work from I will use additional photos to capture your pet’s unique personality and detail. A 50% deposit is required before I begin drawing.

Graphite or Colour?

I offer portraits in graphite pencil and coloured pastel pencils. The choice of which is up to you! It’s worth thinking about what would go well with your house, the colour of the animal and what size portrait you’d like.

What happens next?

You will be included in the creative process throughout, receiving updates as the portrait is drawn. Your feedback is important at each stage to ensure the final portrait is exactly how you would like it. When the portrait is complete, we can arrange collection or postage at cost.
